Latest News on the rides

Look at club news for next weeks ride
Monday March 8th 6 riders met et the Old Mill Inn at Bagington (not the Moat at Babbington) a venue we have all been to and all failed to get to this time on time.! Still after a jumpy start we made our way to Brandon Marsh lane by the Tollgate roundabout and Neil already suffering gear problems post service had to stop a number of times.. This was a pleasant ride to the entrance to Binley Woods and some good technical here including leaving the path and some freeriding. !! Then over the road and the north side of the woods leading to Coombe Abbey. It was at the top of this BW that Richard decided to do a full summersault with tuck the result being blood everywhere nose job mainly. Glasses etc. a short ensued and we deemed it a suitable reason to visit the cafe for coffee and chocolate. V good. Then on through the abbey grounds and the FP to the BW nr Rolls Royce. Down the hill to the road and then onto the canal bridge. Up here and follow the canal south (this time) till we arrived at the correct exit road for Church Lawford. Soon reached the x roads and Dick decided to have a puncture a long stop where we were able to admire the cows in the barn (no photo) One randy one who was evidently unsure of is sexuality. ! * Still from here down an Unclassified Road (UR) and a ford. It was here we decided that discretion was the better part.... and back to the road West to get to the Queens head at Petford making a dash along the dangerous road to Brandon and the Royal Oak. A long drag then to the tollgate roundabout and past the airport eventually to the Old Mill. A super lunch of Ham and 3 eggs and rye bread. V healthy I think not ***** Distance 25.04 miles Tiem 2.52hrs Av 8.8mph (my computer)
